About Kuldeep Kumar Dhiman

A highly skilled engineering professional with a Ph.D. in Flight Dynamics and Control from IIT Kanpur and a Master's degree in Control and Guidance from IIT Roorkee. I have extensive experience with autopilot systems (Px4 and Ardupilot) for quadrotors, helicopters and fixed-wing and strong expertise in C++, Python, MATLAB, ROS, ROS2, Gazebo, and flight control systems. I have contributed to the development of a Gazebo simulation environment to test flight systems before real-world deployment. Additionally, I have developed various software drivers for sensors and other software modules to support both simulation and experimental flight testing. In addition, I have experience of leading the flight test of the system in the field. During my Ph.D, I worked on developing an underslung load transportation system using quadrotors and helicopter-type VTOL vehicles. My research was validated through experimental testing, both indoors and outdoors, involving single and multiple vehicles for cooperative load transportation.
