About Kumar Anjani

Kumar Anjani is the Head of IPR at Panasonic India. Before joining Panasonic, he worked as Lead-IP in the Intellectual Property division of Welspun Group, focusing on patent and trademark protection. Prior to Welspun, he was a Manager (Legal - Brand Protection) at Sun Pharma, where he played an active role in the trademark merger activities following the Sun & Ranbaxy merger. Anjani also managed and head the Mumbai office of Brain League (now BananalP), a leading IP firm in India. He has extensive experience working with inventors and brand owners to protect their IP rights. His expertise includes strategic IP planning, extraction, filing, prosecution, protection, enforcement and portfolio management with a specialization in international IP activities and IT law. Kumar Anjani is a registered Patent & Trademark agent. He holds an LL.M.(Masters) in IPR and IT Law from Jindal Law School, a PG in IPR from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and a B.A. LL.B. from Bangalore University. He has a background in both law and science and over 14 years of experience in the IPR field."
