Better than you will ever realise.’ This quote captures the essence of self-belief and resilience in addition to emphasizing the need to recognise one’s own worth. Whenever I have faced challenges these words have motivated me to learn grow adapt and turn obstacles into opportunities. As a sales marketing and business development leader with 16+ years of experience being resilient has helped me bounce back from adverse situations move forward and eventually flourish. I commenced my career with Bhavna Traders LLC and moved through several positions of increasing authority during my 15+ years tenure with the company. My determination growth mindset and ability to do things differently enabled me to setup successful businesses for the company in Indian territories such as Goa Kolhapur and Belgaum. Also I was able to reduce/optimise costs achieve ‘preferred vendor’ status and grow B2B customer base. Currently I am a Business Head at Sheela Foam Trading LLC. Here I lead a team and devise business expansion sales and marketing strategies for Middle Eastern and North African regions. Validation of my achievements at Sheela Foam comes from its consistent growth and other measures of success including: ★ Launching its brand Sleepwell in UAE ★ Growing revenue significantly within three months by modifying business model implementing novel concepts and building strategic alliances ★ Improving logistics operations by moving logistics function in-house and liquidating ageing stock Completing one full IRONMAN four half IRONMANs five full marathons and 19 half marathons has taught me the importance of consistency and commitment.
