Well experienced and skilled Molecular Biology/Biochemistry scientist especially in Cardiovascular research. Performed research mainly for 23 years and also involved in teaching clinical physiology to graduate students. Applied genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic analyses to understand the pathophysiology of hypertension (Renin-angiotensin system) and heart failure. Recently acquired a certificate in Genomic data science from Johns Hopkins University (Coursera). 22 years of research experience at UIC primarily working on diverse projects independently with active collaboration from scientists in USA. Published more than 30 peer reviewed research papers and more than 50 research abstracts.
