DBT supported postgraduate in Biotechnology from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan with a strong passion for research and development in the biopharma industry. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively sought training programs and internships to gain practical experience in biotechnological research, further expanding my expertise in the field. Worked as an intern at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan and Research Centre and Kurji Holy Family Hospital in Patna. I had the opportunity to contribute to significant projects. In my first project, I focused on microbiology and biochemistry, successfully isolating efficient protease-producing bacteria from spoiled detergent-water solutions. I conducted further characterization of the bacteria, exploring their morphological and biochemical properties, and identified ideal growth conditions for the isolated species. Moreover, I demonstrated that the protease enzyme produced by these bacteria, when combined with detergents, enhanced their cleaning abilities. In my recent M.Sc. Dissertation project, I delved into rice research and molecular biology. Throughout this project, I gained extensive hands-on experience in various molecular biology techniques, including Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), DNA isolation, and agarose gel electrophoresis. Using bioinformatics tools and methodologies, I also identified a specific miRNA that targets the submergence tolerance gene. In addition to my academic achievements, I have qualified the BITP Exam 2023 conducted by the Department of Biotechnology under the Government of India, demonstrating my dedication to gaining industrial exposure. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for research and my commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
