Innovative & result oriented Engineer having over 10 years’ experience in designing, for projects in India and overseas Have worked in several roles of Electrical Engineer, Design Engineer, Lead Electrical Design Engineer and Electrical Discipline Leader with different organizations on various segment of power projects including fields of generation, transmission & distribution at various voltage level-765kV, 400kV, 345kV, 220kV, 225kV, 150kV, 110kV, 132kV, 33kV and downstream, including both with AIS and GIS technology presently available in market. Worked with various Major clients and all leading OEM’s such as- ELECNOR, Arcelor Mittal, Walsh Power UK, Southern Scottish Electricity Network (SSEN), EirGrid, Statkraft, Scottish Power (SPEN), Tata Power, GE Vernova, Siemens, Toshiba, Hitachi Energy, Hyosung, Chint, Seiyuan, among others. Currently working as an Lead Design Engineer & Project Discipline leader – Electrical T&D in IDOM Consulting Engineering and Architecture. During my service tenure, have played a key role in designing and delivering different projects both in Domestic & International segment, some of them being “GLENCGOOSA (250MW HISC), CALORIAN (112MW HISC), ARCELOR, PATHFINDER-2 UK, SPEN GSP 33kV Switchgear replacement, among various other projects which is of paramount national and international importance. In all these years I have gained experience in all segments of primary, secondary, detailed and final design including SLD, layout, earthing, illumination, cabling, vendor equipment engineering, preparation of Bills of Quantity, preparation of specifications, project reports (DPR). Having theoretical & practical knowledge of protection system in various bus configuration of substations (AIS/GIS) & Conversant with Single line diagrams. Knowledge of various Protection relays such as, SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens relays etc. relay selection based on project requirement and specifications. Expertise in team management, coordination with different stakeholders, cost estimation and effective project delivery within deadlines and quality parameters. In the designing of substations, transmission lines, distribution lines and power plants major codes used comprise of international and national standards like IEC, ANSI, BIS, BS EN etc. Proficient with design tools including ETAP, EPLAN, Aucotec-EBASE, AutoCAD, MS Projects, MS Office, Bentley, CDEGS for Earthing, Dialux for Illumination among others.
