I am a senior research fellow specialising in wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) of aluminium alloys. My expertise lies in investigating the impact of torch path on deposition quality and analysing the microstructural and mechanical properties of WAAM-produced components. Through the use of the finite element method (FEM), I simulate and optimise the thermal and mechanical behaviour of fabricated parts.
