Greetings :) I'm a trained Front-End / Web Software Engineer with a strong background in UX, and an amateur bassist. I work at Block, Inc.(formerly Square) as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the Front-End side of things in many projects, working groups, other initiatives, etc. My key interests are User Experience, Accessibility, and Front-End Software Architecture. Some places I've had the opportunity to work at previously include Amazon, Splunk, Goldman Sachs, and the University of Toronto. In addition, I've also been fortunate to be considered for, and pass engineering assessments at other firms including Meta, Microsoft, Shopify, Oracle, etc. I have solid experience working with diverse teams on different products (Advertising Dashboards & Analytics, Marketing, Rewards/Loyalty, UX Design Systems, Core UI Platform, Search/Code Editor Experience & FinTech) and owning microservices-based front-end SPAs, in addition to contributions in monorepo architectures, design systems, accessibility & theming, and server side rendered apps, as well as executing cross-team projects that require extensive collaboration. At present, I'm involved in customer engagement driven projects at Square Loyalty & Square Marketing which generate multi-millions in annual revenue.
