Software Developer with Proven Experience in Machine Learning Applications I am a Software Developer with 3 years of experience in building scalable applications, working with financial transactional data, and optimizing data-driven systems. I hold a Master’s in Engineering (MEng) in Data Science from McMaster University, where I developed a strong foundation in machine learning, data analytics, and statistical modeling. What I Do: At Scotiabank, I work with large-scale financial data, optimizing processes and ensuring system reliability in high-transaction environments. Previously, at Infosys, I was trained as a Data Engineer, gaining deep expertise in relational databases, DBMS, and ETL processes. Beyond my professional experience, I’ve taught data-related courses as an instructor, helping others build their data science and programming skills. Passion for ML & AI: My curiosity for machine learning goes beyond theory—I love applying it to real-world problems. One of my recent projects involves extracting insights from CV PDFs and leveraging AI (RAG, CrewAI, FAISS, LangChain, embeddings) to match candidates with job opportunities. Also, built an end-to-end ML pipeline with Apache Airflow, automating data processing, model training, and evaluation while seamlessly tracking experiments with MLflow. Leveraged NLP techniques to clean and analyze social media text, uncovering patterns in personality traits.
