About Kunal Mathur

Motivation Inclination & Type of Work: Engineering with a definite purpose and impact has always been an academic and professional priority for me. Hence, I am determined to be at the frontlines of scientific/engineering revolution and innovation, more specifically in the sphere of Engineering Dynamics and Control, while being able to have a direct impact on the application areas of the same. Interests & Application Areas: Interested in innovating for the proliferation of application areas like Advanced Mobility, Aviation, Military/Defense, and Space. Through a well-balanced cycle of constant learning and application, I aim to add value to an organization and hence the relevant industry in this space. Technical Experience Technical Skills (Broad): My technical skillsets span from mechanical engineering (design, dynamics, vibration, thermal) to control, electromagnetic engineering, and multi-physics as well. Experience & Applications: Experienced in advanced and sustainable mobility systems on the vehicular subsystem and component-level for different vehicles and the Hyperloop. I have applied myself in the Automotive and the EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction- Oil, Gas & Energy) industries. My technical experience stems from University-level student teams, teaching assistant roles in academia, technical start-up experience, and experience from large companies. Additionally, I learned extensively from several academic research projects ranging across different fields in Mechanical and High-Tech engineering. Leadership and Non-Technical Experience Have worked in academic, corporate, and startup organizations. Entrepreneurial experience from setting up a technical startup: MASS Foundation. Presentations and technical demonstration experience from industry and academia. Leadership and management experience in initiating, training, supervising, and maintaining morale of teammates. Talent acquisition and interviewing experience from startup and academic organizations. Extensive team-working and collaborative experience from University student teams, research projects, corporate and startup experience.
