About Kunjan Doshi

I am an ordinary immigrant, came as an international student with big dreams to pursue engineering. When I decided to come to Canada, I wasn't sure about the outcome or if I would succeed. I landed a part-time job within a month of arriving in Canada. However, balancing studies, assignments, a part-time job, and daily household chores was incredibly challenging. Despite the difficulties, I managed to complete my two-year college program, secure a job as an Electrical Technologist, and obtain permanent residency (PR). it might seem like I've achieved success. However, I'm driven to pursue my dream to become professional engineer in Canada. My Professional Side: I’m an Electrical - EIT specializing in designing electrical systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects. With 4 years of experience, I’ve contributed to over 100+ projects, ranging from minor electrical upgrades to large-scale long-term care facilities. I have expertise in: Electrical design using AutoCAD, Revit, and AGI32 Creating lighting, power, and system layouts Performing electrical calculations, load analysis & voltage drop calculations Ensuring compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and other industry standards Professional Progress: I hold an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation from APEGNB and a Professional Technologist (P.Tech) certification from NBSCETT. I’m also actively working towards my P.Eng licensure and CAPM certification. Education: A proud 2021 graduate from NBCC (New Brunswick Community College) with a Diploma of Education in Electrical Engineering Technology. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, class of 2018. Let’s connect!
