Since 2016, Kurt has been actively involved in city planning and public engagement. As a City/Community Planner, he has created housing market analysis reports for Monticello and Maple Lake, offered planning and zoning services to Lakeland, Long Lake, Sibley County, and Lent Township, enforced city codes for South St. Paul, and managed communication for seven road construction projects with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the cities of Champlin and Edina. Additionally, Kurt has led numerous public outreach initiatives related to community comprehensive plans and neighborhood construction.In his role as a Senior Public Engagement Coordinator, Kurt contributed to various transportation projects, including bridge, highway, trail, and neighborhood street construction. His expertise lies in delivering clear, concise messaging, promptly addressing inquiries from residents and businesses, and engaging directly with community stakeholders. With a Master’s Degree in Community & Regional Planning, Kurt is adept at articulating the broader impact of public infrastructure projects on communities. His strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in qualitative data analysis, and deep understanding of government processes make him a valuable asset to any organization.
