I am a senior U.S. diplomat, leader, energy/climate policy expert and speaker with demonstrated accomplishments in international energy policy, national security and inspiring teams to succeed. For the past two years, I have led the Energy Resources Bureau at the State Department conceiving and implementing international energy initiatives to advance Biden Administration climate goals. I was the second-ranked diplomat at the U.S. Embassy to Serbia in Belgrade, where I functioned as the Ambassador’s right hand and COO, leading an interagency team to advance U.S. goals in Serbia and the Balkans. At the U.S. Mission to NATO, I forged alliances to advance U.S. foreign policy/security goals, including the commitment of Allies to raise their defense spending to 2% of GDP. I am leaving the State Department after more than thirty years. I am looking for opportunities to employ my expertise as a foreign policy practitioner to help energy decision makers prepare for the challenges of climate change and to prepare the next generation of leaders in foreign affairs.
