Background
About Kurt Hauswirth
I'm a radio host, programmer and producer with hands-on experience in all levels of hosting, producing music programs, recording, web & social media design, interviewing and more at an NPR affiliate station. I work daily to bring interesting, relevant and progressive Public Radio programming to Marquette and the Upper Great Lakes region. I hold a Music Education degree from Northern Michigan University, which allowed me to teach music in a variety of educational settings. I've taught music in Milwaukee, WI and Marquette, MI, plus have experience as an Instructional Aide and Vocal Coach. I love my family, our pets, music of all kinds, and I love making content and hosting on public radio. I also love making music, both singing as a classically trained vocalist and as a DIY-musician.
