About Kurt Hodge

I began my career as a trainee mechanic in the year 2009,where I started to train at the Guyana sugar corporation. At this time I didn't had any knowledge about mechanics because I had just finish my secondary education, but I had a appetite to learn something new and to be the best of it as i can possible be. The main goal for the Guyana sugar corporation was the production of brown sugar which was harvested from sugar cane. My task as a trainee mechanic was to carry out duties as to getting a idea of the theoretical aspect of Agricultural mechanic, so i decided to attend the Guyana technical institute where by i passed with a credit in the field of agricultural mechanics. After working at the Guyana sugar corporation for almost three years, I resigned and started to work with farm supplies limited to further my skills, and gain more experience as a mechanic. This was a great opportunity for me to be working in another environment whereby i gained more knowledge because, this was a franchise for brands such as Doosan and John Deere to large companies in the Agricultural sector. I worked at this company for 9 years whereby i became a senior technician in the corporation, gaining a few certification in the field of hydraulic repairs and electrical repairs. This environment was a very fast environment because they had a wide range of customers which where spread over the entire country but it was a great experience since it gave me a set of responsibility and increase my skill of multi tasking significantly I'm currently working with Saipem Guyana to venture into a new sector to increase my skill set into a new environment.
