About Kurt Scheffrahn

I am a globally minded, constantly learning and energetic program manager that has experience in overseeing multiple entire project life cycles from being involved in the strategic vision to closure. Before my current role, I spent time in managing a complex project of transferring manufacturing and assembling processes from a plant in UK to Hungary to improve efficiency by streamlining processes and reducing complexities. This created value not only internally, but to our automotive customers as well. I also spent time in product management for medium-voltage apparatus equipment where I was involved in the entire product life cycle, from launching new products globally to expanding the market share for mature products to making a product line more profitable through product rationalization. I also participated in an engineering leadership development program where I gained a variety of skills from different business functions (engineering, marketing, operations) in various ABB manufacturing plants and offices in the USA (VA, NC, TN).
