Kurtis brings to the table 20 years of solid experience in leading the installation, preventative maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial E&I applications and systems, with a reputation for being an influence as a Seasoned Red Seal Master Electrician and Journeyman Instrumentation & Controls Technician. He strategically identifies electrical and instrumentation risks and communicates recommendations and plans to achieve operational objectives with the ability to collaborate with key personnel, senior management, vendors, and clients to foster productive business relationships. Kurtis is passionate about learning. He believes in continuous self-improvement which carries forward through experience and training. He has pursued various training and courses to keep himself better in his chosen career. This also applies in his home life with his kids from whom he constantly learns patience and compassion every day. He is driven by his family to further push himself to provide stability and the best environment possible. This passion makes me a motivated and committed employee who grows within an organization. Kurtis loves that he can facilitate the needs of his direct reports and provide guidance and direction whenever required. He appreciates the challenges of working with various ages, races, sexes, and ethnicities and work towards creating a cohesive team environment with the aim to provide a sense of job satisfaction for every individual. On an educational front, Kurtis has completed his Master’s Certificate, Professional Electrical Contractor Designation, Management and Supervision Certificate, and the Blue Seal for Business Competencies among other training and courses that he has taken for professional development. A few of the key skills that Kurtis brings forward include excellent leadership, organization, planning personnel management, and communication skills. He strongly believes in creating positive working relationships with people and seeing the impact and positive influence he provides. Kurtis continues to be focused on improving his position as a leader, developing his cutting-edge skills in Electrical & Instrumentation Technology.
