I’m a cybersecurity professional with a focus on Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC), backed by hands-on experience in Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Forensics, and Audit. My journey began in offensive and defensive security — conducting penetration tests, managing SIEM deployments, and investigating incidents. Over time, I shifted my focus toward the GRC side of cybersecurity, where I could bridge technical insights with risk strategy and compliance implementation. What I bring to the table- Risk assessments aligned with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2 - Experience in SOC operations, incident handling, and forensic analysis - Policy development, internal audits, and compliance reporting - Research in emerging areas like AI Governance and Blockchain-based Compliance Currently- Vice President of DePaul’s ISACA Student Group - Researching real-time risk management and agile audit processes - Pursuing the CISA certification to strengthen my audit and control skills My goal is to help organizations build resilient security programs that align with business and compliance needs — not just secure systems, but systems that stay secure under pressure.
