About Kushal Lahoti

I am Kushal Lahoti, an international student enrolled in the MSCS program at Texas A&M University. I completed my undergraduate studies in computer science in Pune, India, where I gained a deep understanding of the core fundamentals of computer science and completed several projects in areas such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases, Operating Systems, and Computer Networking. Additionally, I worked as an Application Development Intern at Garrett Motion Technologies in the summer of 2021 and graduated in 2022. After that, I worked as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank. I began by working on a greenfield project aimed at delivering the bank's first data product. I initially worked on a set of Java and Spring Boot microservices to efficiently manage distributed workflow execution and optimize performance. My work also extended to enhancing microservices by implementing Spring WebClient, and more. Later, I had the opportunity to work on Kubernetes and the cloud deployments of our services. I played a key role in migrating all components from Openshift Containerization Platform v3 to v4, achieving 100% migration accuracy, and devising new UAT/PROD promotion protocols. As a result of my contributions, I received the Technical Excellence Award. Now, as I pursue my Master's at Texas A&M University, I am eager to apply my experience and skills to new challenges in the tech industry.
