I have extensive experience (±23 years) in the strategic sourcing and supply chain management field in the mining, oil, and gas industries. My role in the business is to generate sustainable business value through the strategic provision of goods and services for Sasol SA Ltd, whilst fostering mutually beneficial relationships with our relevant stakeholders. My current experience includes strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier management, preferential procurement, internal and external stakeholder management, project management, value creation. I have procured and managed complex projects such as, exploration drilling, sales of recyclable materials, underground construction and drilling services, labour hire, professional services as well as employee transport services across Sasol Business units. I have also successfully managed commodities such as (PPE), mining consumables such explosives, coal cutting consumables, My project management experience includes projects such as mining licensing and rehabilitation. I have developed strategies that include plans to attain ESD and preferential procurement policy objectives, with specific focus on creating contracting opportunities for EMEs and QSEs and localization of spend.
