Hi there, I’m Kyara. It’s nice to e-meet you! Who I am — A Marketing major student at AUAS who is passionate about the field. I love learning new things and am constantly trying to soak up as much info as I can. During this pandemic, I have found ways to improve my knowledge and skill set by taking online certification courses. I am a lifelong learner and tried to make the most out of the boring lockdown days. What I do — As a former backoffice employee at a tour operator, I’m experienced in managing operational activities – reservation management, customer support, accounting, and reconciliation. I love collaborating with others and have worked closely with suppliers from all over the world. After working full-time in the travel industry for nearly three years, I decided to pursue a career in business. My current study has provided me with a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals. I have learned the importance of applying digital marketing skills in real-life projects. Where I’m going — I’m ready to scoop up a career in the digital industry! I’m currently looking for an INTERNSHIP in the international marketing division of a tech company. With opportunities like internships, I am hoping to prepare myself to succeed in the marketing and communications business. I thrive in welcoming, open-minded, and cross-sectional teams where I can learn from others.
