About Kye Williams

What am I getting myself into? That was the question I asked myself as I waited in the terminal on a one-way trip to Atlanta, Georgia, as a college freshman. After changing my major and transferring colleges in my sophomore year, I discovered I discovered that the challenges I faced during my matriculation tested my patience and commitment. While studying at Texas Southern University, my hunger to take chances drove me to start the Entertainment and Recording Management (ERM) alliance. The ERM Alliance is an organization that grants students pursuing careers in the entertainment industry with the opportunity to network, learn, and produce events. With virtually no reputation, attracting students to a brand new organization on campus seemed impossible. My creativity, strategy, consistency, and tenacity grew the organization to become the 3rd largest on the campus in less than a year. The process of selling something I was passionate about— using strategic marketing and selling methods, inspired me to pursue a career as a sales and marketing professional in the tech and music industry.
