About Kyle Avery

As a Credentialing Manager at MediTrans, LLC, I oversaw the credentialing and compliance processes for over 200 transportation providers in the Medicaid and Medicare sectors. I ensured that all providers met the federal, state, and local regulations and standards, and that they maintained the highest quality of service and safety for the patients. I also collaborated with internal and external stakeholders, such as the state agencies, the insurance companies, and the provider network, to resolve any issues or discrepancies, and to implement best practices and improvements. Before joining MediTrans, I worked as a Compliance Coordinator at Southeastrans, Inc, where I supported the compliance department in auditing, reporting, and training activities. I also leveraged my food and beverage production skill, which I developed from working in the restaurant industry since I was 16, to create and deliver engaging and informative presentations and workshops for the staff and the clients. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University, where I gained experience in conducting psychological research studies and working with non-profit organizations in the community. My goal is to use my credentialing and compliance expertise, along with my psychology background and food and beverage skill, to make a positive impact in the healthcare transportation industry.
