About Kyle Belanger

I help manage several accounts associated with companies such as Ford, Stellantis, Isuzu, and Nissan. Primarily this has me compiling, organizing, and presenting data in Excel. I resolve any inquires associated with my accounts, communicating with numerous coworkers to follow up on purchases, delays, pricing, and so on. I also continually study our products and company processes to be able to best support my team and answer questions in a timely manner. Prior to this, I have spent 2 years on the JET program as an ALT in Numazu, Japan. This opportunity has allowed me to be immersed in a foreign culture's work environment, as well as enabled further growth of my understanding of the Japanese language. During my time there, I became Vice President of Shizuoka AJET (a volunteer committee of international JET participants dedicated to the cultivation of international exchange in Shizuoka Prefecture, as well as providing information to JET participants adjusting to life in Japan). I was also an active volunteer at various functions in the prefecture, which is something I've continued to do in Michigan. Here I support cultural exchange events by offering additional translation or simply an extra pair of hands. I also currently am an officer for an alumni chapter of the JET Program, representing Michigan and Ohio. We help both returning and outgoing JETs and facilitate a continued connection with Japan, as well as other JETs. I pride myself in constantly trying to improve not only myself, but those around me. As such, I'd be an asset in any workplace.
