About Kyle Cameron

My professional career began right after high school when I joined the United States Navy. I enlisted at 17 1/2 and was stationed in Europe shortly after turning 18. The Navy trained me as an Information Systems Technician and for the next four years I worked in that role. My job entailed fixing pre-fabricated and custom built PC's, building and maintaining networks (classified and unclassified), training new personnel, and, for a brief time, working as part of a 6 man team conducting non-compliant boardings on vessels located throughout the Gulf of Oman near the Iranian Coast. When my active duty obligation came to an end I left the service and began working for a small IT firm located in my home city of Sacramento. This firm responded to computer related repair requests from clients in their homes and small business located in and around Sacramento County. I worked at this firm almost two years before deciding to leave the work force and use my GI Bill benefits to attend college full time. While at college I decided to switch gears and move away from the tech industry and instead pursue a career in Law Enforcement. I graduated with honors from CSU Sacramento with a degree in Criminal Justice but my dreams of a Law Enforcement career were never realized. Sometimes life just gets in the way. After college I worked in digital marketing, as a federal security contractor, and reenlisted in the military (United States Airforce Reserve this time) but have only recently found my focus again and am now pursuing my Juris Doctor and a career as a lawyer. I have high hopes for my future, both personally and for my career.
