About Kyle Chow

Since 2007, I have played a leading role in the growth and development of Combine Design & Communications, an innovative, Calgary-based design firm. Educated at the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD), I have maintained an interest in continued learning by becoming a Sessional Instructor at ACAD in Graphic Design, and in Typography. My areas of expertise include publication design, branding, digital technologies, online media, art direction, and client relations. I excel at understanding the creative process, communicating this process to clients in an approachable manner, and in developing effective communications that incorporate considered design. Special skills: Adobe Creative Suite, programming, WordPress, project management, collaborative thinking, mentorship, teaching, conceptual development. Special interests: design education, typography, maker movement, landscaping, cooking. My creativity was featured on Calgary's Breakfast Television program in the fall of 2012, highlighting my work with community markets.
