About Kyle Devries

My name is Kyle but I go by Ky, I started working at the age of fifteen needing a workers permit, starting out as a Laborer for a construction company in Las Vegas. I've always been known as a hard worker amongst associates, friends, and family, so hard that I got heat stroke while working on a job site. From there I decided to work in the Food & Beverage industry starting out in the back of the house as a dishwasher at a little Mexican restaurant. I worked my way up to server, then decided to move to Virginia for school. While living there I worked at a movie theater, and served at an Italian restaurant, all while attending school. After two years I realized I wanted to move back to California and set down some roots. I was blessed enough to get hired at the Triple Five-Star resort named Montage in Laguna Beach. Starting out as a Food-runner was incredible, because it gave me the opportunity to watch, and work with the renown Michelin star chef named Craig Strong. Wanting to develop a closer relationship with the customers, I was promoted to a Server Assistant. Needing to step it up and perform at a faster professional pace, I took the extra steps to learn what was required of a Server. Believe it or not but I was up for another promotion. This was in March of 2019, the year that killed the service industry. After all the years working in Food & Beverage, I decide I wanted a bit of a change, but still being able help people in another way. Out of no where I applied to Nordstroms, I was hired as seasonal, and then brought on as full-time salesman, after a few months I was given the opportunity to work for Indochino, when they opened a little shop inside the Nordstroms. After three months working with Indochino, they offered me a management position at their Santa Monica location. There I've built a strong and successful team from the ground up, which I'm absolutely proud of, as they've continue to thrive and develop lasting relationships, and skills in the retail industry. I will continue to strive, and better my experience in anything I am given, or plan to do. One thing that will never change is my work ethic, and that is to be a leader, and helpful in anything I do.
