About Kyle Dodge

Have been teaching and coaching in Springdale, Wa. since 1997. Started out teaching social studies in the middle school and in I moved to the high school. I have taught English and history classes since moving to the high school. In 2009 I became the high school AVID Elective teacher. I love what AVID does for the kids. I have been the head wrestling for 16 years. The boys program has had some good success. We won 6 Academic State Championships from In 2013 we had our 7th State Champion. The team has finished in the top 10 at state 5 times. I was named A/B State Coach of the year in 2001 and the B Sportsman of the year in 2002. Our girls wrestling program is doing great also. We have won the Eastern Regional Tournamnet twice and continue to compete well. Seven years ago I became the district AD. I work on the middle school and high school shedules, and coordinate officials and transportarion. I also do all the ordering of sports equipment and medical supplies. I serve as the league wrestling coordinator for the North League. I am currently a Registered Athletic Administrator and planning to take my CAA exam this year. I also am the ASB Advisor for the high school. I work with the student officers on all ASB issues.
