About Kyle Douglas

I treat my life like an ongoing journey toward self-optimization. With that comes a respectful balance of professional experience, personal passions, and meaningful interpersonal relations. In my professional life I've spent years learning biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes (Upstream and Downstream) for the purification of drug products. I am now working in gene therapy where I bring my downstream processing skills, aseptic technique, and lab maintenance skills to assist the Vector Production team. My personal passions have led me to earning a Certification in Full-Stack Web Development as well as winning first place in an ETHGlobal online Hackathon using UI/UX Design for Web3 Crypto Development tools. In addition to learning web development, I independently research scientific journals relating to Psychology and personal development. I've written long-form blog articles about my thoughts and findings, and am writing a practical guide to mastering your sleep hygiene for high performing individuals. Amongst all of this, I am a self-taught musician and music producer by recreation. Finally, my interpersonal communication is a cut above. I work well in teams, I find ways to bring the best out of others, and I actively listen to new ideas and perspectives brought to me. I'm an extroverted spirit who seeks to learn from the most highly effective people in my presence.
