About Kyle Drobick

Since I was young, I have consistently demonstrated an enthusiasm for data analysis/application, a curiosity for economics, and an excitement for leadership opportunities. I created models to evaluate/project player value for fantasy baseball and football; I volunteered as a little league and travel baseball coach, developing my interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. As a baseball player, I was often awarded for my team leadership skills and took pride in positively impacting my teammates. Continuing these passions at Santa Clara, I have become an adept leader and a motivated learner. As an Economics major and Business Analytics minor, some of my relevant coursework includes advanced Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Econometrics, R (programming language), SQL, marketing, operations management and business analysis. On campus, I have had the oppurtunity to work as a TA, which has developed my organizational, communication and leadership skills. Off campus, my experience interning with the Oakland A's over the summer greatly improved my team management ability, problem solving skills, and business analysis knowledge. Additionally, creating the Club Baseball team at my school offered experience in planning/budgeting and further team management opportunity. I am currently searching for an internship for the summer of 2024, and I am excited to continue my development.
