About Kyle Edwards

My goal is to contribute to the overall compliance and lessen any chance of risk to the patient and for the health organization for which I work. I have an Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology and I received my certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). As an RHIT, my job is to ensure complete accuracy when reviewing patient's data from medical records and coding. Some of the most important areas in coding are: Knowledge of patients' medical records, diagnoses, and procedures HIPAA compliance Protecting confidentiality Precise accuracy in coding Correcting miscoded information Communicating with physicians to ensure proper coding CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, ICD-10, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook Express Some of my personal strengths are: I am dependable, cooperative, have great attention to detail, and I get along great with people. I am an analytical problem solver and I go above and beyond to do whatever it takes to do my job well.
