I am an individual who thrives on daily challenges, so it goes without saying I did not choose the easiest degree to obtain in the field of engineering. In 2009, I graduated from the University of Nevada - Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering. I was offered a job as an underground Field Engineer with Kiewit Construction in California. At the time, my wife was still working and living in Nevada. Once our daughter arrived, I hung up the underground hard hat and moved back to reunite the new family. The engineering market took a huge hit in Reno, NV during this time, so I accelerated my career in the safety field where I am able to continuously find rewarding challenges on a daily basis.
