About Kyle Evans

I graduated from Fanshawe College's Electrical Engineering Technologist program in 2014 and moved directly into the Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) department at London Hydro. At this point, I started to develop automated software to simplify energy calculations and the application process. I was moved for a brief sting to help in London Hydro's Engendering department, where I helped automate a 20-year-old work order process and assisted project management subdivision design and implementation. When the Ontario government expanded the Conservation programs in 2016, London Hydro reassigned me to CDM to help automate and work on significant technology projects, specifically, the implementation of a Customer relationship management software, including identifying security flaws. When the CDM programmes started to wrap up in 2019, London Hydro assigned me to the Electrical Metering department as an Advanced Meter Infrastructure Technologist. I have taken responsibility for Power Quality, the advanced metering infrastructure backend, and the LTE metering in this position. With these tasks, I still rely on my Software development skills and have been able to use my engineering background with Radio and Electronics assignments.
