About Kyle Floyd

Just like many people in the recruiting industry, I never imagined this would be how I would make my living. But here we are. I graduated in 2014 with a BS in Biology/Pre-Medicine from The Ohio State University with aspirations of becoming a doctor. While I started the medical school application process and took the MCAT, my passion for medicine was not there anymore. I realized what drew me to it was my interest in 'people' and 'problem solving.' Having no idea what would come next, I began the search for a career and happened upon Vaco, a local recruiting firm that was hiring. While I had actually applied for a position they were hiring for one of their clients, they asked if I'd ever considered sales and recruiting. Obviously I hadn't.but I listened. Years later, I love what I do. I help jobseekers when they don't love what they do or they have been abruptly left in the terrifying predicament of being unemployed. I help recruitment teams and hiring managers get creative and navigate an everchanging, crazy, and competitive talent market.
