About Kyle Frank

My career journey has been an exciting adventure! I went to school, played sports in college at Madison Area Technical College for two years on the baseball team and then transferred to Minnesota State University- Mankato. I got good grades and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics with a Minor in Mathematics. I then got a good job. Just like everyone told me to. What I didn’t realize was that just like a good majority of people in corporate America I very quickly became extremely unhappy with my job. I have always been an over-achiever, so as I worked my way into leadership positions I quickly learned that if I wanted to keep advancing I was going to be taking someone else’s job. My next chapter was lived as a small business owner. I was a licensed General Contractor in Wisconsin for the next 5 years. I worked with a group of investors to flip properties as well as some higher end remodeling projects. In June of 2018 I moved to New Jersey to sell solar for a small private company, Trinity Solar (TS). We grew from a small office in Bergen county to the top team in the company. In March 2020 we were all laid off in response to Covid. To start Chapter 2 of solar, after the mandatory COVID layoff, I moved to San Diego in July 2020 and opened a residential solar sales office and the first west coast office for TS. We won the company competition “The CUP” as the top office in 2020. Chapter 3 starts out with me switching to the big leagues of solar and partnering up to start a new program for SunRun Solar called FUSION. As Athlete District Manager I am responsible for training new team members how to generate solar leads. In December of 2021 I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to partner up with a few other leaders to build a SunRun FUSION sales office. We are now the top sales team in all of FUSION. As part of a 4 person team in early 2022 I was able to win a nation wide single elimination match-up style contest at SunRun called “The Revolution”. Chapter 4 of Solar started in February of 2023 and lead me back to the East Coast and Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Still working with FUSION, just upgraded to the MONEY Region and working with one of my best friends and mentors.
