About Kyle Gonering

I am looking to gain experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, to be able to work with young adults suffering from mental illnesses. My experience shows that I have held a range of differing jobs; part of the reason I have had several jobs is due to the seasonal nature of summer camps, as well as maintaining personal integrity due to the culture of the company. However, I hope as my experience also shows, is that I am very loyal to a company that I have found purpose in. I also have extensive experience through volunteering with various organizations, from the Boy Scouts of America, to the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, the American Red Cross, and the National Rifle Association. My primary capacity in these organizations has been as an instructor, training others in basic principles, or training trainers. As part of my tenure in the Boy Scouts of America, I have served on the Council training team for Riverside and San Bernardino counties for over 9 years. Over that time I have been a part of the youth leadership training teams, and adult leadership training team. I have been a Course Director for a National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) course as well as for a local advanced youth leadership training called Foxfire, based on the application of the leadership skills learned at NYLT. I have also served on the staff for an adult training course called Wood Badge.
