About Kyle Hamilton

As the Chief Innovation & Data Officer at iQ4, I lead a global team of engineers across three continents to design and build AI-powered platforms for career development. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I have successfully secured a Fortune 50 corporate contract with NLP-based algorithms and spearheaded the integration of Generative AI pipelines for career content generation. I am also a passionate researcher in machine learning, having worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Kinzen where I designed, trained, and evaluated Natural Language transformer models for semantic similarity detection. I hold a PhD in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence from Technological University Dublin (ML-Labs) and a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. My research focuses on interpretable, human-centered architectures that blend deep learning, symbolic logic, and knowledge representation. I champion Neuro-Symbolic AI as the key to progress, leveraging knowledge graphs, human expertise, and reasoning. An avid learner and educator, I’m a three-time Distinguished Faculty Award recipient from UC Berkeley and an MVP contributor to Experts-Exchange and Databricks. With a background in fine art, computer science, data science and research, I bring a unique perspective to solving complex data challenges and driving innovation.
