About Kyle Hennessy
I am currently a graduate student at East Stroudsburg University where I am working toward a Master of Science degree in Biology while working on a thesis. I hope to continue to grow my knowledge in microbiology related courses and gain more research experience to help me with my future career goals. I am a graduate from Penn State University with a degree in Microbiology with a minor in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I performed research on bacteria lipoprotein structures and how they interact with the TLR receptors of the immune system where I received an Undergraduate Research Award to help fund it. My time at Penn State allowed me to learn leadership skills, laboratory skills for research, scientific communication, and teamwork. I look forward to growing my skills in my future endeavors.
