About Kyle Henson

Welcome! I will admit, I am more of a diamond in the rough rather than a lustrous diamond sitting atop a 24k gold ring. But a diamond is still a diamond, still tough, and still shining despite not being presented on a silver platter. And that's who I am; I am a twenty-three year old who has rediscovered his passions, set his goals and ambitions, and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. I am currently working for Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor in a store within its New York Metro Region. From there, I take away my skills in communicating with people on a personal level. I also take away my experience in organized leadership through analyzing people's strengths and weaknesses and placing them in positions that will create the most efficient play to serve our customers. I am also a student at the W.P Carey School of Business at Arizona State University currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Marketing degree and a certificate in Applied Business Data Analytics. As a "late-bloomer" in terms of higher education, I have taken the time to ensure the confidence of what I want to do in my life and that is help people connect with products and services they need, and the business who provide them by exploring and researching consumer behavior and market trends. Being a full-time online student, I've gained a good sense of how to work independently with the limited resources I would have in comparison to students who are on campus. It has also allowed me to gain a greater sense of focus towards completing the tasks at hand while in moments where distractions are imminent. As time goes on I hope to gain more experience through different jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. Let's connect and grow our networks!
