About Kyle Huson

I am an enthusiastic sponsorship marketing professional who is motivated to continue to better myself as an, employee, colleague, friend, and person, and who firmly believes in the role of education as a root of personal and professional development. Therefore, in pursuit of both my goal of improving day after day and my long term career aspirations of one day leading a professional sports franchise, I decided to leave my job at an e-commerce company two years after graduating with an International Business and Marketing degree from Bishop's University to enroll in the George Brown Sport and Event Marketing program. It was at George Brown that I developed my passion for sponsorship marketing, thanks in large part to an internship at Lumency, where I spent four months working with the Sponsorship team on Anheuser-Busch and Toyota. I'm fortunate to continue my journey in sponsorship marketing at Diamond where I help clients establish and execute their partnership strategy across sport and entertainment properties. Some proud career achievements include- Playing an integral role in the production and promotion of Scotiabank’s “Hockey 24: A Film by Canada” with The Mark - Launching PROLINE+, OLG's online sportsbook, the first of its kind in Canada following the legalization of sports betting with The Hive In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, golfing, and recording episodes of my podcast: Sports Bar Debates (available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google).
