About Kyle Lake

I first started working when I was 15 and got my first job at the Bayers Lake superstore. I stayed with Superstore for one year and had a great first-time job experience. I worked as a cashier, floor worker for the health and beauty (HABA) department, and as a cart attendant. I then went to Canadian tire as of August 2019 and started working in the housewares department and loved the people and the job. During the summer of 2021, I decided to leave to get more work experience. I got a job with a friend of mine working at a Parkland nursing home and it was amazing. The staff was great as well as the residents in the building. After finishing the summer I returned to Canadian tire and I was welcomed back with open arms and continued to work part-time while in school. After completing my education through NSCC I decided to do my work term at Air Liquide in the business development department. This was a great experience to learn more about sales and how to generate new business for the company. During my internship I learned lots about the industrial gas market, conducting research for campaigns and strategy’s used for cold calling. As my work term was coming to an end, I was offered a position as an Inside Sales Representative for Air Liquide Dartmouth and I was very happy to accept this new role. I am currently still in school as a part time student through Saint Mary’s University completing my courses online, as I plan on finishing my education and obtain a bachelor’s degree in business.
