About Kyle Lemmons

As a Design Engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering (April 2024) and six years of co-op experience, I bring both academic excellence and practical expertise to my role. Since starting my career at Persico USA in March 2024, I’ve been deeply involved in research and development, authoring an engineering paper on plastic joining, and designing/testing tier-1 manufacturing tools. My prior experience includes working as a Manufacturing Engineer at Stellantis, where I focused on operator safety, human factors ergonomics, and various welding techniques (MIG/TIG and resistance spot welding). I also performed weld verification through microscopic analysis and ultrasound inspection, body-in-white inspection, and digital manufacturing for automated cell functions. I began my journey at Emitted Energy, working as an Automation Engineer from July 2018 to April 2023. I developed cost-effective infrared welding solutions, tested thermal cameras, and designed equipment using SolidWorks 2020. Leading a team during the COVID-19 quarantine, I designed thermal detection systems for identifying COVID-19 symptoms, showcasing my leadership and innovation skills. My robust skill set includes CAD, product development, manufacturing processes, research and development, and mechanical design. I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. I thrive on tackling complex challenges and continuously seek opportunities to apply my knowledge in dynamic environments.
