About Kyle Linton

Through my time working at TDSB, I have gained extensive knowledge on how to clean to proper specifications, the proper use of various styles of equipment, knowledge of mechanical equipment (Air Handling Units, boilers, pumps) and have recently acquired my 4th class Operating Engineering certificate. Through my strong work ethic, I have been able to create new relationships and maintain them at each location I have worked with caretakers, teachers, Principals, and Management. Having gained experience working as a Head Caretaker, ensuring TDSB sites are operating efficiently and productively, cleanliness is upheld, and working with my fellow caretaking colleagues to make sure all guidelines have been adhered too. Being a liaison for projects within the school setting with various departments measurement accuracy was vital and ensuring all machinery had appropriate guards and worked to proper factory specifications. Ensuring a clean and organized worked space made sure the area was easy to work in and easier to spot hazards. Through the experience I have gained in the Food and Beverage industry, utilizing the knowledge and practices I have adopted, I have grown an understanding of the importance cleaning and sanitizing for the betterment of an operation. Having safety as a top-of-mind focus, I encourage fellow staff around me to work with the same emphasis and dedication. I consider myself to be a dedicated and dependable individual who possess excellent verbal communication, inclusion in the work place and customer orientation skills.
