My Journey: I embarked on this exciting path at AFDA in Cape Town, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies. My specialization in cinematography and film editing laid the foundation for my journey. Highlights: One of the highlights of my career was my role as a content creator/producer at GoPro South Africa. Here, I spearheaded content strategies, collaborated with GoPro Ambassadors, and managed online platforms. In 2016, I joined Pernod Ricard as their in-house content producer, overseeing content for 10 brands in the South African market. I initiated a cost-saving initiative by building a national freelance content team, streamlining processes and ensuring top-notch content delivery. Entrepreneurial Spirit: In 2018, I founded my own freelance content company, where I've had the pleasure of collaborating with esteemed brands and forging new partnerships. My projects have ranged from small to large-scale, involving complex logistics, client relations, budgets, and all facets of film production. From South Africa to Australia: I made the move Down Under in 2021, joining Mazda Australia as a Video and Multimedia Specialist. In this role, I manage projects for major product launches, media events, and paid content for both social and TV. My responsibilities encompass budget management, supplier negotiation, pre, production post-production coordination and execution. Technical Expertise: I boast a deep technical knowledge of cameras, lighting, and post-production software. My passion for technology keeps me at the forefront of industry trends, ensuring I deliver cutting-edge content.
