About Kyle Luu

I am an alumni of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I got my Bachelor's degree of Science in Computer Science in Winter 2021. My first job was as a camp counselor for the local park district. While my programming skills weren't tested in this position, my abilities to work well with others and to take on the mantle of responsibility were. My second position was to help the IT department of TruGreen with two projects, both dealing with Artificial Intelligence and data analysis. The first project dealt with an AI that would pull satellite data from an address and estimate its lawn size. The second project was with a virtual assistant on the website and app. It would talk to and help the customers, allowing them to configure their profile and help them with almost anything they wanted to do. Most of my work was analyzing data in order to help improve the AI's function. In doing so, I learned about each program's internal functions. On the side, I have done a few personal projects, none of them large in scope or scale. For a class, I developed a personal website using javascript/HTML/CSS/Node.js/Express.js/SQL. On my own, I used Python's Tkinter Class to develop a random-number-generator with its own GUI. I have also developed some very simple games.
