About Kyle Lyons
After graduating from high school, I attended South Western Illinois College where I worked to complete an Associates in Arts. During this time I enlisted in the United States Army and served as an Engineer for 8 years. While serving, I worked towards a BS in biology before transferring to the University of Iowa to begin their Doctorate of Pharmacy program. The spring of my P2 year I was accepted into a palliative care certificate program that will be awarded upon graduation. I graduated May of 2019 with a PharmD and will continue training as a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident with the St. Louis VA Health Care System. I am also working to complete a Masters of Science in Palliative Care through the University of Maryland Baltimore, which will be completed Summer 2020. My interest is in pain and palliative care pharmacy.
