Looking to change the world some day! Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Kyle Macmillan and I have recently received my CPA designation. Who am I? Entrepreneur: I grew up with an entrepreneurial mindset always looking for money making opportunities. My most successful ventures were in sunglass and smartphone charging cable sales. I also have experience in drop shipping through Shopify and Printful. Adaptive/Competitive: I welcome challenges and enjoy finding solutions whether the answer is inside or outside of the box. My adaptability and competitive spirit gained from Karate allows me to work in fast paced work environments and problem solve quickly. I have found that the key to being adaptable is not giving up, learning from mistakes and trying new solutions. Computer Geek: I have always been interested in computers and continual upgrade my custom built desktop. Over the past few years I have developed quite a few computer skills: Web Design, JavaScript, Access/Database, and I am extremely proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. I taught myself how to code in Visual Basic for Applications(VBA), and can now create complex macros in excel. Checkout my personal website at Sport/Travel Enthusiast: Two large parts of my life are Karate and Travel. Growing up I was fortunate enough to travel with my parents on many different trips around the world. This sparked my love for travel and my quest to see all seven wonders of the world. When I wasn’t traveling, I was most likely training for a karate competition. Karate was a large part of my life growing up as, I spent five years competing for BC team and two years for team Canada. My passion for sports doesn’t end at karate. I love all sports with some of my favorites being surfing, biking, hiking and baseball.
