As a finance student at the University of Mississippi, I am pursuing a career as an Equity Research Analyst with a strong interest in financial markets, corporate finance, and valuation. I have completed certifications in Financial Statement Modeling and an Investment Banking Job Simulation, which reflect my technical proficiency and commitment to building a strong foundation in finance. These experiences have helped me develop practical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and interpreting financial statements. I gained hands-on experience as a Finance Intern at ConnectOne Bank, a growing community bank in the New York Metro area, where I worked for two consecutive summers. During my internship, I collaborated with senior executives to understand small business lending, internal controls, and supported research and analysis tied to a recent merger. My responsibilities included financial forecasting, due diligence, and market research, helping me strengthen my analytical and problem-solving abilities.
