Background
About Kyle Mason
My career has spanned multiple industries including sales, landscape design/construction, agriculture, produce sales/marketing, and commercial real estate. For nearly the last decade, my focus has been in real estate, where I have had the good fortune to be part of some iconic projects like Denver’s Larimer Square and Seattle’s RailSpur. These projects, along with the rest of the portfolio I managed, instilled in me the importance of the human experience when designing and managing physical space. The real estate industry was changing before the pandemic, but those changes were hyper accelerated by it. Now, more than ever, the future of real estate is dependent upon the power of moments and the ability to create amazing, memorable experiences. This is true at the street level, with the curation of retail, food & beverage, and public spaces, as well as in the home and work spaces that exist above the street. I have spent my real estate career building and managing a multi-disciplinary team of property managers, building engineers, concierge staff, leasing professionals, and creatives to imagine and deliver these experiences across a variety of property types – everything from the tedious details of lighting and music selection in our building lobbies, anticipatory service provided by our concierge staff, and landscaping selections to create the perfect street-level experience, to pop-up experiential retail stores, street festivals, public art installations, Denver’s first rooftop public farm and event space, and an eight-story public art festival in our Seattle RailSpur project. And just as important and fulfilling as the building of great physical spaces, is the building of great teams. I believe in building people-first organizations and leveraging the power of human creativity and collaboration to achieve great outcomes. In addition to my extensive understanding of commercial real estate operations and a continued pursuit of placemaking and amazing experiences, I take great pride in my ability to connect with people and inspire innovation and teamwork.
