My journey began as an apprentice shortly after completing 6th form, and I've taken a unique route to my current role. Previously, I honed my interpersonal skills in customer-facing roles at Lidl and a hotel banqueting department. My transition to coding was primarily self-taught, and I've proudly carved my path without traditional university education. At finova, I've focused on delivering high-quality work that not only functions flawlessly but also aligns perfectly with the unique needs of our clients. My role goes beyond writing code; it involves understanding our clients' key needs and translating them into innovative features. My deep industry-specific knowledge in mortgages has been instrumental in creating lending origination solutions that make a difference. One of my core values is ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time. Recently, I've taken on responsibilities related to resource management for UK, Europe and India-based developers, collaborating closely with key stakeholders. This involves ensuring that our developers have the necessary skills for each project and providing the training and knowledge they need to excel.
